Robot Girl AI: price, photos, free options and FAQ

Updated:

Short answer

No subscription. Robot Girl is sold in packs: $8.99 for 1 video, $16.99 for 3 and $25.99 for 5. One video is 1 credit and makes a 10-second 720p android clip from one photo, with no watermark. Credits never expire, and every pack includes watch-only previews.

Example frame: a woman in a grey T-shirt and black shorts stands at a rope barrier in a big exhibition hall, a glowing silver-blue mechanical core showing at her waist, while a technician in a black polo shirt watches with folded arms

What one credit buys

  • One story: a 10-second 720p clip with spoken lines and crowd sound, no watermark.
  • One adult: a single face. The story, place, core colour and outfit are included in the price.
  • What it works out to: roughly $8.99, $5.66 or $5.20 a clip, depending on the pack.

Making a set of firsts

With 3 or 5 in a pack you can make several of the six stories from one photo, such as the hug, the pocket and the ice cream, and compare them. The credits that are left work on every other template on MimicZip.

How the packs work

Each pack also carries watch-only previews, 1, 3 and 5 from the smallest pack to the largest. They are a bonus, not a free tier. You pay once and nothing recurs; an unopened pack can be refunded for 7 days (see the refund policy).

Is there a free Robot Girl AI video generator?

No. Robot Girl has no free version and no free preview on MimicZip. One finished 10-second 720p android clip from one photo of an adult costs 1 credit, and packs start at $8.99. Every pack includes watch-only previews for testing your photo. No subscription.

Free routes to a Robot Girl clip

The original series is free to watch on TikTok, and some template sites show a similar android clip, but we have not checked what their free plans include. Filming it for real needs a rig, a crowd and a glowing waist prop that nobody has on a desk.

What a template rarely gives you is your own face on the android with a story you choose and a crowd that reacts to it, as one continuous shot. That is the part MimicZip generates from a single photo.

What one Robot Girl run takes

  • One photo: a single adult, head to waist or lower, facing the camera.
  • Choices included: six stories, five places, five core colours, five outfits, and 9:16 or 16:9.
  • Cost: 1 credit buys 10 seconds at 720p, no watermark. $8.99 gets 1 video, $16.99 gets 3 and $25.99 gets 5.
  • Previews: 1 with $8.99, 3 with $16.99 and 5 with $25.99, each 5 seconds at 480p, watch-only.

Why it is a paid tool

Each clip comes from a paid AI video model, and a ten-second one with sound is among our longer renders. A failed run returns its credit by itself, and an unused pack can be refunded within 7 days.

Which photo works best for a Robot Girl AI video?

Use one sharp photo of an adult, head to waist or lower, facing the camera, face uncovered, in plain clothes with nothing in front of the stomach. Pets, toys, drawings, children, group photos and celebrities are not accepted.

Example frame: a red-haired man in a white T-shirt and grey shorts with a glowing mechanical core at his waist, both hands in his pockets and his eyes wide with astonishment, surrounded by people filming on phones

Photos that work

  • One adult: you, or a friend who agreed.
  • Head to waist or lower: the glowing core sits at the waist, so the photo should show where.
  • Face and hair clear: they are what must stay yours through ten seconds of movement.
  • Plain top: a fitted T-shirt or sweater lets the opening at the waist look natural.

Photos to avoid

  • Pets, toys or drawings: this template takes adults only.
  • Babies, children or anyone under 18.
  • Group photos, celebrities, or a frame from the original series.
  • Sunglasses, masks, hats pulled low, heavy beauty filters or a coat that hides the waist.

Which stories, places, cores and outfits can I choose in Robot Girl AI?

You can pick one of six stories, five places, five glowing-core colours and five outfits. The defaults are the first hug at a tech expo with a silver-blue core and your own clothes; none of the choices changes the price.

Stories

  • First hug (default): a visitor asks, the android checks with the technician, then hugs back.
  • First pocket: hands slide into pockets and the android is astonished.
  • First compliment: the glow turns pink and the android blushes in her own way.
  • Queue-jumper: a cheeky visitor is sent to the back of the line.
  • First rain: a palm held out, then a step into the rain.
  • First ice cream: one lick, a bright flash and a delighted laugh.

Places, cores and outfits

  • Places: tech expo (default), robotics lab, shopping mall, city street, space station.
  • Core colours: silver-blue (default), gold, rose pink, matte black, crystal.
  • Outfits: your own clothes (default), white dress, suit, sport, grey tee and shorts.

Good to know

We tested the defaults, and the pocket story at the default place; the other choices are marked New and share the same camera, so check a bonus preview first. The rain story needs a doorway or window, which the other places provide in their own way.

Questions people ask

How long do credits last?

For as long as your account exists.

Is there a monthly fee?

No. A pack is one payment with no recurring charge.

Do I pay when the render fails?

No. The credit returns to your balance on its own.

Do I need a credit card for the free preview?

There is no free preview, so no card is asked for at login or when you add a photo. You pay once, at checkout, when you choose a pack.

Why does it say my free preview is used up?

Free previews are no longer offered on any account, so an old message like that does not apply. Buy a pack and use its bonus previews.

Does the preview show the whole story?

It shows the opening of the story you picked at 480p, watch-only; only the full video is 720p and downloadable.

Does the photo have to show my whole body?

No. Head to the waist is enough; head to the thighs is better because the android walks and uses its hands.

Can I wear a dress or a coat in the photo?

Yes, but pick the outfit option if you want the video to show the waist; the default keeps your clothes and opens the waist section.

Is my photo kept?

Photos are stored privately and deleted after 14 days.

Can I write my own story?

No. The stories are fixed presets, so there is no free-text box.

Does a different story cost more?

No. Every story, place, core colour and outfit costs the same 1 credit.

Which story is the safest first pick?

The first hug, because it is the one tested on the default place and the one the original series made most popular.
